Dr Lye Kok Weng
MDS (OMS) (S’pore)
Dr Lye Kok Weng is a specialist Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon registered with the Singapore Dental Council. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1998 with several prizes and awards and as the top final year student of his cohort.
He then went on to obtain his Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at NUS in 2003. He also received his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental surgeons in 2002 and became a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in 2006. He went to the USA for fellowship training in management of patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea in 2006. He became a consultant specialist in 2008 and was conferred his PhD for his research work by the Radboud University of Nimegen, The Netherlands in 2011.
He is currently a senior Lecturer of NUS in OMS. He belongs to several specialist organizations, sitting on several of the executive committees. He has published and lectured locally and internationally. His special interests include dental implants, obstructive sleep apnoea and orthognathic surgery.
